Heart Shaped Croissants Recipe

Preparation

1. Remove croissant from freezer and thaw for 15 - 20 minutes.
2. Cut thawed croissant into pieces to fit into heart-shaped mold (make sure the mold is oven safe!).
3. Bake at 360°F for 18-20 mins.
   *Before baking, cover the croissant in the heart-shaped mold with parchment paper, then weigh it down with a flat sheet pan to control rise and maintain the heart shape.
4. Remove from oven and let cool. Then remove the heart-shaped croissant from the mold.
5. While the heart-shaped croissants are still flat, add a dollop of frosting and press a sugar candy on top. The frosting acts as an adhesive to hold the decoration in place.
6. Turn the heart-shaped croissants on their side so they stand upright, then pipe whipped cream cheese frosting on top.
7. Finish with decorative Valentine's Day themed sprinkles.
